Over the next few days I will have a set of 4 cards and the envelopes that match them that were made with one large sticker sheet, scraps of card stick and print paper, Distress Ink and plain old cheapie textured card stock from the winter stack of 2005 from DCWV. The only thing new I purchased was the weird glitter as this was more like snow than the fine stuff most of us use.
I tore a piece of snowflake paper and inked the edges and placed it on the right of my folded card which I had also inked in red instead of blue. I backed the sticker with some plain white paper to make it stronger and then placed it on a red scrap which I then tore around the sticker to fit and inked those edges too. The was then pop dotted on the card. Using a scrap ribbon, I made a hand tied bow and snot dotted it in the lower right corner. Using Scrappy Glue (I didn't trust anything else to dry clear enough) I edged the top right sticker and under a bit with the glue and then pressed the glittery flakes into the glue and let sit until dry. This glitter has a blueish white tinge so the light picks up on it in different ways. I got it on clearance at Micheal's in the ornament aisle for 99 cents.
Super cute...I wish I had these stickers!
