Guess what?? I am getting rid of my hubby for a month!!! Can we all say YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So along with the snore free evenings and the sofa slug being elsewhere, I will still be organizing and deleting items from my stash. So to help it along, I am making up two Non-Pareils of 6 x 6 paper (and maybe some other sizes too) and some nicely stamped images from Rubber Stamping Fun on white card stock that you can cut and make into your own fun cards and tags and perhaps even small scrap pages.
So I have to come up a fun question. Being the animal lover I am, I am enamoured of the story of Noah and his Ark and living peacefully with all the fauna of the earth for days upon stormy days. I am gonna do a switcheroo here as I am casting a new movie about Noah. But Noah isn't human-he is an earth creature with more common sense. So tell me what animal you would chose to be Noah and why. I will choose a number by random on Labour Day night at about 11PM. Feel free to pass around but keep the rain away for a while. I have seen enough this week.

Hi Jan, You were the winner of my blog candy! Let me know your address and I'll get your winnings in the mail to you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats:)
Laura
Okay Jan...the animal to play Noah would be a Goat. I'm not sure how much common sense they have, but they would be able to take care of all the litter that any of the others would drop on the Ark (including paper and cans) and I think Goats are one of those animals that just DO....so Noah would be for sure to get it done. Maybe not the right way....but he would "Get-R-Done". At the very least - Mrs Noah would be able to lead Noah around with a rope and help head him in the right direction (because LORDY knows....there's always a GREAT women behind every great Man). Kadie from Madison
ReplyDeleteHi Jan - this is a fun blog question. :-) Let's see; I would cast Noah as a cat. Wise, and won't take any crap from anyone. :-) Enjoy your day -
ReplyDeleteBeth (Mommy to a busy 4 yr old)
I missed this one entirely...of course, I don't think the ol' blog reader is as reliable as Google (or maybe it's the user!). Hmm...I would pick a giraffe. They are smart (although not the smartest...you don't want someone too full of themselves!), like to spit at those that tick them off and can keep an eye on everything. Sounds like a mom!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose a dolphin to be Noah. Seems like they know more about people than people.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!
Claudia
What a creative way to giveaway some fun stuff. I would say a monkey. They are smart! They can swing over here and there to help get things and even clean up the mess. Thanks for a chance.

I would say a bear they are so big and strong!! Thanks for a chance to win the candy blog!
ReplyDeleteI would say a polar bear. Its my favorite animal. They are fun and like to play so they can help everyone get their minds off the rain. They have water repelent fur which is handy. They are a lot less scray that what they seem but scray enough to avoid having other animals attack them. They are clever and good to adapt to difficult situations. When its not possible for them to eat other animals they learn to eat other stuff, although this is not necesairly healthy for them. They are strong, but cuddly too. And they can help warm anyone thats cold. But most of all they are lovely creaturs with more surprises than people think..
ReplyDeleteI'm imagining him as a Lion, I guess it's cuz I think of them as leaders of the animal kingdom. Very fun and unusual question:)
ReplyDeleteI would have to say he is a wolf. They are the smartest animal I know. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think Jack Russel Terriers are pretty smart and they do neat tricks, but that would make a very crazy movie with Noah jumping all around and wanting to play fetch.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! (BTW, I didn't have much participation in my last giveaway either...I'm chalking it up to busy summertime, and hoping things pick up in September. Best to you!)
What a great question! I think Noah would be a cat. They are good at supervising and they sleep through the stormy weather!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

I'd choose a pig, because they're smart but not stuck-up (and they're not carnivores). Also, a lot of the time they seem to have a sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteWell he definitely would not be cast by a wiener dog. My little Oscar is very loving but not the brightest dog on the block. And he is scared to death of thunder and lightening. I'll go with a whale. It can swim along side the ark and rescue the animals that fall overboard.
ReplyDeleteI am not an animal person, so I'd have to say the dog that my kids picked with hubby a few years ago...Lilo the Westie....woof, woof!
ReplyDeleteHi Jan!
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering us such a fun contest :)
I think the animal to play Noah should be a cat. Talk about common sense! It's true what they say...dogs have owners, cats have staff!
I think Noah would be an Owl. Wise, eyes that could see in the back of his head, easy to get around and smarter than most. What a great question! Love your site. Love your cards!
ReplyDeleteNoah can be a big strong elephant. Did you see Evan Almighty? It sure got terrible reviews but I thought it was a good movie, funny, and it had a strong message. I enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to do candy -- you are so fun.
ReplyDeleteI think Noah should be an Eagle. They just seemed to be wise.
Cute Question Jan...
ReplyDeleteThe Animal that I would choose to play Noah would be the LION [king
of the beasts] Good..strong..and a Leader.
Thanks for a chance to WIN your blog candy ! You have a nice blog..
and I will be checking in often.
Noah should be a Lion as the king of the jungle. I can see the owl thing someone suggested!
ReplyDeleteI would choose Noah to be a rabbit. He would best know how to procreate and get the animal population up to er speed again.
ReplyDeleteI think Noah should be played by a horse, very strong and smart, and can carry most that cannot walk for themselves. Thanks for the chance for fun candy
ReplyDeleteHi Jan!
ReplyDeleteI think that Noah should be played by German Sheperd! They are smart and loyal!
Malieta:)
